How It Works
Every custom project starts with a conversation. Share your idea, and I’ll let you know what is feasible, what materials may be a good fit, and what the timeline and cost are likely to look like. There is no commitment until the details are agreed upon.

- We’ll refine the design, materials, and specifications.
- Quote
- You’ll receive a clear quote covering design, prototyping if needed, and machining.
- Approval
- Once approved, I’ll begin work and keep you updated as needed.
- Review and Payment
- When the piece is complete, I’ll create a private product listing with photos and final details for review. Payment is collected before shipping.
- Delivery
- The finished piece ships directly to you.
What to Include
To help me respond effectively, include:

- any material preferences
- size or dimension preferences, if known
- intended use
- reference images or sketches
- an approximate budget range
Pricing
Custom pricing reflects the time involved in design, prototyping, and machining. Every project is different, but a clear quote will always be provided before any work begins.
Optional 3D-printed prototypes, when appropriate, are quoted separately.
Payment
For most custom orders, payment is due once the piece is complete and ready for review.
A materials deposit may be required for projects involving specialty or exotic materials. Once approved, the deposit will be invoiced through a private checkout link and applied toward the final project total. Deposits are non-refundable after materials have been ordered.
Payments are processed securely through the website using credit card, PayPal, and other available payment methods.
Design and Intellectual Property
Custom projects are treated as one-off commissions. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, Maker Marc LLC retains ownership of the design, CAD files, prototypes, and related derivative designs. Custom work does not include exclusivity unless specifically agreed in advance.
